Community Centres and Facilities

The Borough Council owns four Community Centres within the Borough. Each centre is managed and operated by a volunteer community association which is supported by a Community Connections development worker.

The Centres are located at:-

• Beatty Road, Newtown

• Church Lane , Gorleston

• Claydon Pavilion, Southtown Common, Southtown

• Peggotty Road South Denes

Community Transport Schemes

Although Great Yarmouth Borough Council does not operate any Community Transport Scheme's directly, we can however tell you of a scheme called Dial-a-Ride. Dial-a-Ride operate services in the great Yarmouth area for people with mobility problems and can be contacted on: 01493 332253
