Health Advice

ComeUnity
The ComeUnity Neighbourhood Management Programme for South and Central Yarmouth is delivered through five Working Groups, each with a unique theme delivery plan. One of these is entitled "ComeUnity Wellbeing”, and consists of local residents and Service Providers working together to try and make a positive contribution towards the health and personal wellbeing of local people. Under this theme, we provide local people with a range of drop-in and surgery services at the Neighbourhood Centre at 143 King Street:

  • Shelter (housing support)

  • Target Opportunities (training, employment and volunteering support)

  • Neighbourhood Action Team meetings,

  • Signposting to Drug and Alcohol support services

  • Access to a Black, Minority and Ethnic Support Worker.

We facilitate Health Roadshows in the areas of greatest need, signpost people to advice and support services where appropriate, and work closely with the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Mobile Food Store and Health Care Trainers, who can be contacted on 01493 656 372.
