Arts Grants

The Borough Council’s arts development provision is primarily delivered by the Seachange Trust, a local arts development agency, in accordance with a Service Level Agreement.

The Service Level Agreement is managed by Community Services Section Head, Marie Hartley

Further Information

Great Yarmouth Borough Council holds a small fund, called "Helping Hands". The fund is for individuals who have exceptional sporting or artistic talent. To qualify for an artistic grant, the individual must have a special recognised talent in the fields of music, drama, dance or art.

The criteria for the Helping Hand Fund is as follows:-

  • 1 The applicant must be 18 years old or under

  • 2 The applicant must be a resident of the Borough of Great Yarmouth

  • 3 The applicant must be of a regional or national standard to qualify

  • 4 Grant Aid will only be given once during a 12 month period.
