Private Landlords and Tenants
We are looking to increase the number of properties in the Private Sector that are available to those looking for housing in this area.
What can we offer to Private Landlords who come to us with an empty property that they need to rent out?
The deposit / bond scheme is run and guaranteed by the Council
We will take photographs and store them to protect your interests if a tenant leaves.
We always have a list of suitable tenants waiting to fill your property reducing void times to a minimum and reducing advertising costs with no finders fee.
We can arrange for Housing Benefit/LHA to be paid directly into a landlords bank account.
We will arrange for Housing Benefit forms to be filled in with the new tenant.
We do not manage the properties but we will keep in regular contact with landlord and tenant to help with any problems that may arise .
We will also give advice to tenant or landlords as the tenancy progresses.
If you have any questions and would like to know more, please contact Mark Thompson on 01493 846180 or 01493 846204 to speak to a member of the team. Alternatively please feel free to e-mail, Mark on mlt@great-yarmouth.gov.uk
