Cobholm & Lichfield SRB

The Single Regeneration Budget Programme (SRB) for Cobholm & Lichfield was completed in March 2006.  The programme was funded by the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) under the SRB fifth round.

A number of projects received money with the aim of improving 5 key areas for the community.  These areas include Education, Community, Environmental, Economic and Health which were identified by local residents during the early part of the programme.

The programme was managed by a Steering Group and Partnership Board which involved residents, community groups, voluntary groups, public bodies and private companies. The committees of the Steering Group and Partnership were responsible for directing the programme ensuring that local people’s needs and aspirations are met.

There were a total of 59 individual projects in the scheme. Two of the major projects were the Cobholm & Lichfield Health & Resource Centre on Pasteur Road and the Lichfield Community Centre on Stafford Road.
