Training and Development
There are a number of training and development opportunities within the Borough.
The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) is responsible for funding and planning education and training for over 16-year-olds in England.
The LSC has brought together the skills of the Training and Enterprise Councils and the Further Education Council to work with partners, employers, learning providers, community groups and individuals to develop and implement the Government’s ‘Learning to Succeed’ White Paper.
Training and development is provided along with Business Advice by a number of agencies.
