Translating and Interpreting Services
INTRAN is a free and confidential service, providing British Sign Language interpreters, lip speakers and interpreters in 150 languages.
The interpreting service is organised by the service provider and is available where you see the INTRAN symbol. For other services, if you are not sure whether INTRAN is available, please show your INTRAN card or ask the staff if you can have an interpreter.

GYROS is a local voluntary organisation, who provide support to all newcomers to the UK (families and children) and offer a dialogue interpretation service for voluntary and community groups wishing to access language support for group work.
Their support service ranges from befriending to providing practical advice and assistance on all aspects of living in the UK. They take on referrals from other organisations and the general public and provide advice on issues related to working in the UK.
