Have you been to your local Neighbourhood Gathering yet?
The Neighbourhood Gatherings are all about local residents getting together to discuss things that are a priority to them in the neighbourhood. This could be anything from a spate of anti-social behaviour, to a project idea for a community garden or a youth club. Essentially, in order to really address local priorities, we need you to not only say what they are, but also to help us to come up with ways to make improvements.
Anyone from the neighbourhood is welcome to come to the gatherings. We invite partners, like the Police, Environmental services, NHS workers and others. to come and help to find solutions to priorities. Local councillors also attend the Gatherings, so it's a great way for everyone to get together for the benefit of the neighbourhood.
The gatherings are friendly, informal and are held every month.
