The Development Control Policies ‘Issues and Options’ consultation is now closed.

The Development Control Policies ‘Issues and Options’ Development Plan Document is seeking your views on policies to help make decisions on planning applications. This paper identifies the key issues affecting development in Great Yarmouth, together with a range of solutions.  At this stage the policies and options are discussed in very general terms.

Copies of the ‘Issues and Options’ document, including the preliminary Stage ‘B’ Sustainability Appraisal Report and Response Form can be downloaded below.

What Happens Next?

There will be a second stage of Issues and Options consultation.

Timetable for Preparation

The timetable is currently being revised and will be available in the Local Development Scheme (LDS) 2008. The submission of the LDS 2008 has been delayed until the new plan making Regulations are in place.
