Great Yarmouth Borough Council does not licence street traders. However, it has designated a number of streets in the Borough ‘prohibited streets’ for the purposes of street trading.  This means that a person can trade (from place to place) providing they do not trade on any prohibited street.  As they have no legal status, traders can be moved on if causing an obstruction or nuisance.
