Securing a brighter future

inteGREAT was a capital investment programme, designed to improve the special characteristics and features of Great Yarmouth that will contribute to the improvement of the local economy.

The inteGREAT programme covered three main areas

·Town Centre

·Heritage (conservation areas)

·Seafront

The duration of the programme was four years, ending March 31st 2007. Funding available to this programme was in the region of £16.3m

The key activities are

·Lighting improvements

·Street furniture and landscaping

·Road infrastructure improvements

·Property enhancements

·Information improvements

·Routes and signage enhancements

·Safety measures

·Business growth
