The aim of the Bursary scheme is to support those in sport who are already dedicated to coaching and want to progress further or for those who would like to start work in this area.
Any individual who wants to gain a coaching qualification in Athletics, Cricket, Girls Football or Tennis is eligible to apply. Applicants must be resident in Norfolk and will be using their qualification within the county.
Grants cannot be given retrospectively. We therefore ask that you make your application a minimum of 4 weeks before the course is due to begin.
Active Norfolk has limited funding in this area, and therefore cannot guarantee that your application will receive support. The maximum grant that can be applied for is 75% of the actual course cost, although we cannot guarantee that this is the amount that will be awarded.
