Waveney Joins Home Select
The choice of where to live is about to widen for tenants in Great Yarmouth, as Waveney District Council joins its Homeselect scheme on March  27.

New Concessionary Fare Scheme starts on 1 April 2008
It's good news for residents of Great Yarmouth Borough, who are over age 60; the new national travel scheme, entitling pass holders to free bus travel anywhere in England, comes into force on 1 April 2008.

New beverage carton recycling scheme is first for Great Yarmouth
Great Yarmouth Borough Council in conjunction with Tetra Pak Ltd and the carton industry body ACE UK (Alliance for Beverage Cartons and the Environment), is launching a new beverage carton recycling scheme throughout the borough this week to give residents the opportunity to recycle even more of their household rubbish.
