Memorial Service - Sunday 13 July 2008 at 3pm in the Crematorium Chapel

To obtain tickets please visit the Bereavement Services Office, Magdalen Lawn Cemetery, Oriel Avenue, Gorleston-on-sea, Great Yarmouth, NR31 7JJ or send a stamped addressed envelope advising how many you require.

The service will be attended by The Mayor & Mayoress of Great Yarmouth and will be led by The Reverend Arthur Bowles. The choir of St Nicholas Parish Church Great Yarmouth will accompany the hymns and perform a selection of music.

Doors will open at 2pm.

Great Yarmouth Crematorium Open Day Sunday 13 July - 10am to 1pm

Bereavement Services are pleased to offer the public the opportunity to tour all areas of Great Yarmouth Crematorium.

Bereavement Services staff will be delighted to guide you through the facility and provide you with information regarding the history of cremation throughout Britain and of this Crematorium and its facilities. You will be able to see all the cremating, processing and finishing equipment used.

Representatives from Funeral Directors, Masons and Florists will be present to answer any questions.

Our staff will be pleased to answer any questions which will hopefully dispel any myths or fears you or your family may have regarding cremation.

No tickets are required for the open morning.
