Monday 25 August

1.30pm - Mayor and Mayoress to officially open Filby Fete at the Playingfield on Main Road. Mayor to also visit the East Coast Palliative Care Appeal stand to draw the ticket for the car.

Tuesday 26 August

7.30pm - Mayor and Mayoress to attend a talk by Malcom Metcalf in aid of Palliative Care Appeal at the Burrage Centre.

5.45pm - Council Briefing with Robin

6.00pm - Member Training

7.00pm - Full Council

Friday 29 August

12pm - Mayor and Mayoress to have lunch at the Burlington Hotel with the Cllr Mike Dixon Mayor of Cambridge as part of the Cambridge Mayor’s Day out where over 10000 senior citizens come to Great Yarmouth.  

2pm - Mayor to attend show at Britannia Theatre to welcome everyone to Great Yarmouth.

Saturday 30 August

2.00pm - Mayor and Mayoress to officially open the New Equestiran Centre at Humbestone Farm which is near the Rugby Club over Breydon Bridge.

Sunday 31 August

10.45am - Mayor and Mayoress to attend the Mayor of Cromer Civic Service at Holt Road Methodist Church, Cromer.

Monday 1 September

10.00am - Mayor and Mayoress to officially open the New Morison’s Store at Gorleston.

7.30am - Mayor and Mayoress to meet on South Quay for the Sailaway for Sponsors of the Maritime Festival on the Mercedes.

Saturday 6 September   MARITIME FESTIVAL WEEKEND

Meet at Town Hall at 9am.  Unveil plaque for Royal Navy MTB.

10.00am - Procession leaves Town Hall for official opening of festival at 10.15am.  Mayor to officially open festival.  Mayor to judge stalls and take part in cooking demonstration at 11am.  Mayor and Mayoress to be guests at the Captains Table.

12.30pmMayor and Mayoress to have lunch with civic dignitaries and visitors from Rambouillet

8pm - Mayor and Mayoress to have supper at the Fisherman’s Return Winterton with visitors from Rambouillet.

Sunday 7 September

12pm - Meet at Town Hall for Festival.  Mayor to thank Town Hall Staff for working the open day

12.45pm - Lunch on the Quay

4.15pm - Procession leaves Town Hall for Closing Ceremony of Festival

4.30pm - Canon Woods to take closing ceremony service.  Mayor to say a few words and thank the festival committee for organising the festival.
