Michael lives in Great Yarmouth with wife Barbara and works full-time for a local area partnership promoting the regeneration of the market town of Stalham and its hinterland of Broadland and coastal villages.
He takes a particular interest in economic development and is a well-respected past chairman of both Norwich Airport and the Great Yarmouth Port Authority. He sees this focus on jobs and wealth creation as absolutely vital to the future prosperity of Norfolk people - whether they live in the towns or in the countryside.
Michael's spare time sees him watching Norwich City Football Club home games and researching his family history.
