It's Competition Time
Boats and Buildings…….
Following the success of our “What the Borough means to me” photographic competition we are pleased to say that were back with yet another opportunity for you to get snapping!
Great Yarmouth has a unique heritage combined with a maritime flavour and this gives us the theme for this year’s competition, “Boats and Buildings”.
So take a look around and see what you can capture, whether you’re visiting the Time & Tide Museum, spending the day at the Maritime Festival or watching the Outer Harbour come to life make sure you take your camera and send your photographs to us. Once again there will be two categories, one for under 16’s and the other for over 16’s. All entries will be exhibited in the Town Hall during October.
The winning entry in the 16 and under category will receive a digital camera and the over 16's winner vouchers for photographic equipment. Both winners will see their picture used on the front cover of a future edition of Borough News.
Please send digital entries to boroughnews@great-yarmouth.gov.uk .
Prints should be sent to:

We are sorry but we cannot return any photographs, all photographs submitted should be your own work. By entering the competition you are giving Great Yarmouth Borough Council the right to use the photographs. Occasionally we are asked for images for Council publications such as our resident’s magazine, posters or reports. Pictures will not be used for any purpose that will cause distress or embarrassment.
