Development Control is a statutory duty of the Council and is governed by law.
It involves dealing with planning and other related applications, monitoring development and instigating development where serious breaches of control occur.

Provides a mapping service to the public as the Service Unit charged with Ordnance Survey liaison on behalf of the Council.

to administer the Licensing Act 2003 which regulates the sale and supply of alcohol, the provision of regulated entertainment and the provision of late night refreshment
