Fixed Penalty Notices
As from April 1st 2006 all the powers from the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 came into force.
This means that all enforcement officers in Environmental Health have the ability to issue a number of Fixed Penalty Notices to deal with environmental crimes.
The matters that could be subjected to a notice and the scale of the fines are detailed in the table below.
We hope this will go a long way to help the problems of fly tipped waste and dog fouling within the Borough of Great Yarmouth and produce a cleaner neighbourhood for everyone to enjoy living in and visiting.
