Who is entitled to a residents permit?

Any resident of the streets within the zone (most listed above) is entitled to a permit. Proof of residency and ownership/control of the vehicle is required (company cars can be included but a headed letter from the company is required as well as proof of residency - this must be to a specific vehicle registration number though).

There is initially no limit on number of resident permits registered to a property (providing suitable proof is shown), and these would cost £25 each per annum.

Each property number is also entitled to one ‘Visitor’ permit £25 per annum (only proof of residency required).

What type of vehicle can be covered by the permit ?

Any private light goods vehicle (i.e. car, van etc) – subject to sufficient proof.

Motorcycles, trikes and mopeds do not require a permit.

Where can I park with a permit?

You can park in any signed on-street resident parking bay. These permits do not allow you to park on double or single yellow lines, or in time limited parking bays for longer than the time limit specified.
