Reset Map Tool
Click on this tool at any time to return to the original locator map.

Pan Map Tool
This tool allows you to move around the map. Click, hold down and drag to move the map image and bring the area of interest into the centre of the screen.

Zoom in - Specific Area
This allows you to select a specific area of interest to enlarge. Click on the tool and then hold down and drag over the map to select a specific area indicated by the appearance of a red box. Map will redraw at a larger scale.

Zoom Out Tool
This allows you to reduce the scale of the map. Click on the tool to reduce the scale, the map will reduce from the centre.

Address Search
The address search allows you to enter a house name/number, street name, town or postcode. If you do not enter a specific address e.g. house name/number and street name you will be given a list of matches relevant to your search. You can also enter a partial postcode e.g. NR30

Click once on the result you wish to view and you will be returned to the map screen which will be centred on the address you chose.

Find a Policy/Proposal
Use this tool to view relevant policies/proposals in the written statement.

• 1. Click the policy Information tool

• 2. Click the map at a point of interest

• 3. Policies relating to this site will be listed on the right hand side of the map

• 4. Click on policy number to see written statement text

To view the legend / key for the map, or to switch on and off the various mapped policy layers

• 1. Click on show layers

• 2. Click on the interactive local plan + symbol to display the different legend groups

• 3. Click on the + symbol on each group to show the individual mapped policies

• 4. Unticking the boxes allows you to remove legend groups or individual policies from the map
