Local Development Framework
The Great Yarmouth Borough - Wide Local Plan (2001) is being replaced by the emerging Local Development Framework (LDF). The Borough - Wide Local Plan (2001) will continue to provide planning policy guidance against which planning applications and other development proposals will be assessed until the LDF is adopted.
The LDF will guide the development of the borough and help to achieve the aims of the Sustainable Community Strategy. The LDF will provide policies that will be used in the assessment of planning applications and is being prepared in line with the requirements of the Regional Spatial Strategy (East of England Plan).
For further information and a progress update on the LDF view the latest
LDF Newsletter (952Kb).
In addition the Norfolk Waste Local Plan and the Norfolk Minerals Plan are being replaced by the Norfolk Waste and Minerals Local Development Framework, all of which are available under useful links.
