1st East Urban Regeneration Company Area Action Plan

The 1st East Urban Regeneration Company (URC) Area Action Plan sets out the planning framework to guide the redevelopment of the brownfield and water front areas of Great Yarmouth and Gorleston.  When adopted the URC Area Action Plan will form part of the Local Development Framework. The accompanying Draft Sustainability Appraisal highlights the likely significant economic, social and environmental effects of the proposals in the plan.

Preferred Options Consultation
Copies of the Urban Regeneration Company Area Action Plan Preferred Options, draft Sustainability Appraisal Report and Representation Form are available to view under further information. The Consultation Summary, summaries the responses received at the Preferred Option stage. The issues raised are being evaluated and will help to shape the URC Area Action Plan before submission to the Secretary of State. The Council and 1st East are also undertaking further studies to address consultee concerns regarding gaps in the existing evidence base.
