Great Yarmouth Waterfront Area Action Plan

The Great Yarmouth waterfront area action plan (AAP) forms part of the local development framework (LDF) and sets out the planning framework to guide redevelopment of the brownfield waterfront areas of Great Yarmouth.

The Great Yarmouth waterfront area action plan (AAP) further preferred options was published for consultation from 5 November to 17 December 2010 and follows on from the preferred options (January 2007).  The AAP now covers a smaller area which focuses on Great Yarmouth’s waterfront.  Submission consultation is scheduled to take place in  June and July this year with a view to submitting the final AAP later in 2012.

The accompanying sustainability appraisal assesses the likely significant economic, social and environmental effects of the plan and the habitat regulation appropriate assessment measures the impact of the plan on European nature conservation sites.

Hard copies of the AAP are available at a cost of £20 (including postage), and can also be viewed, alongside other supporting documents under 'further information'.  You can view the comments made during the last consultation online at: http://great-yarmouth.limehouse.co.uk/portal
