How to find Playgrounds

There are lots of Playgrounds in the area. Use this page to find out more about them and to find out where they are. Please see search options below and scroll down to the bottom of the page to see a map showing the location of Playgrounds that match your search.

To find playgrounds close to home and to enable directions to be provided, please enter your postcode in the box above and click 'Find'.

To find other playgrounds, click on the arrows in the top corner of the map to move around the area.

To find playgrounds with certain facilities, for example, a Skateboard Area, Multi-Use Games Area or Grassed Area please use our advanced search facility to be found further down the page.

To find playgrounds for certain age ranges (guideline), please note that Play sites have been categorised as follows:

Junior - mainly suitable for children under the age of 8 years

Intermediate - mainly suitable for children aged 6 - 12 years

Senior - mainly suitable for children aged 8 - 14 years

These categories are for use as a guide only as a child's ability to use a piece of equipment will vary depending upon experience and physical appearance as well as age. Some of our play sites have only limited equipment for some age ranges so please look at the photographs relating to the play site for further information.

The age ranges stated have not included assessment of the Multi-Use Games Areas, Basketball Rings, Goals or Skateboard Areas.  If you wish to use one of these, please search for 'Multi-Use Games Areas', 'Basketball Rings', 'Goals' or 'Skateboard Areas' only, without selecting an age range.
