Garden Waste

Residents can take an unlimited amount of their own domestic household garden waste to Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) at Pump Lane, Caister.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council has introduced a new garden waste collection scheme to certain areas of the Borough. To find out if it is available in your area or for more details please contact the Environmental Services Team on 01493 846442

This scheme offers a year round fortnightly collection (20 Collections per year) from April 2010 to the end of March 2011.

Discounts will be offered to applicants who join the scheme part way through.
