Norfolk Waste Partnership

Great Yarmouth Borough Council work together with all the other local authorities in Norfolk as part of the Norfolk Waste Partnership (NWP).  The main aim of the NWP is to reduce the amount of rubbish going to landfill and to increase the amount of waste recycled.

The NWP works on several joint projects including the award winning magazine Your Rubbish Your Choice, which is published twice a year.  the current magazine and archive issues are available to download free by using the link to the right hand side of this page.

The Partnership also has a website which has all the latest information on events in your area, information on what can be recycled in your kerbside collections and our current campaigns.  This Partnership link is also situated to the right hand side of this page.

One of our biggest campaigns this year has been the Love Food Hate Waste Campaign, which has been supported by WRAP.  If you are looking for creative recipes to help you use up your leftovers or want information on how to store food to make it last longer click on the link to the right hand side of this page.

The NWP also host an annual conference, as well as annual awards ceremony to celebrate the successes of Norfolk residents, community groups, schools and businesses in reducing waste.
