Climate Change
Great Yarmouth Borough Council is part of the Norfolk Climate Change partnership.
The role of the partnership is to:
Provide direction and leadership on climate change across Norfolk;
Manage and co-ordinate the overall programme of work to ensure timely delivery of the objectives in the Strategy and our emission reduction targets;
Develop and deliver robust action plans and stimulate longer term change, to address each of the Strategy's strategic priorities;
Harness and take account of the views of a wide range of Norfolk stakeholders.
You can view the Norfolk Climate Change Partnership Strategy by clicking on the link in the box below.
In 2009 the partnership commissioned a Local Climate Impacts profile (LCLIP) to assist in recognising Norfolk's vulnerabilities to weather and climatic events, enabling better resilience planning for the future.
The results of the LCLIP can be found in the useful links box to the bottom right of this page.
