Great Yarmouth Borough Councils drive to increase recycling and reduce waste to landfill has taken another step forward with the introduction of a new shoe recycling scheme. This fantastic new initiative will allow residents to recycle all their old shoes, trainers or boots at one of a number of recycling banks across the borough.

All types of footwear regardless of condition are welcome but residents are being asked to always ensure the shoes are in pairs and put into carrier bags before they are placed into the banks.
