Rents

Rental payments for Local Authority homes is usally paid weekly. Upon secruing a property you will be given a rent payment card which can be used to make payments at local paypoints, the Post Office or our Cashiers desk at Trafalgar House.

You can also request a date card which has a handy reminder of all the payment dates throughout the year.

Some weeks are rent free, and details of this will be confirmed in your tenancy.

If you claim Housing Benefit it is still your responsibility to ensure any top up payments are made on time and that you do not fall into arrears with your rent.
