Service Standards

As Great Yarmouth Community Housing tenants you are entitled to know what you can expect from the services we provide. This is why a series of Service Standards have developed with tenants, to ensure we provide the best possible service, and perhaps most importantly, do what we say we will.

The standards which currently cover 7 areas;

  • Communication

  • Anti-Social Behaviour

  • Environment

  • Rent Collection

  • Repairs and Maintenance

  • Council House Adaptations

  • Tenant Participation

These available from the area housing offices and electronically, see below. They explain the services we provide and how we will respond when you contact us about them, in short they let you know the standard of service you can expect from us. To ensure that the standards are monitored the Service Delivery Working Groups (SDWGs), which comprise a mixture of tenants and officers, have adopted the standard for their relevant area, so for example the Tenant Participation SDWG will monitor performance against the Tenant Participation service standard. This not only means that our commitment to improving our services will reviewed regularly by tenants but performance against those standards will be reported to you.’
