Tenant Board Member Nomination Period Extended.
The deadline to return completed nomination forms for the vacancy of tenant board member has been extended to Friday 9 July 2009. Any Great Yarmouth Community Housing tenant or leaseholder can stand for election to the Community Housing Board provided he or she does not owe more than eight weeks rent, service charges or Council Tax and is not the subject of a court order for anti-social behaviour or other breaches of tenancy. Each candidate also needs the support of ten other tenants or leaseholders.
Forms are available from the Area Housing Offices on King Street and Magdalen Way, the reception desks at the Town Hall and Greyfriars House, by emailing enquiries@great-yarmouth.gov.uk
