Yarmouth and Waveney Sub-Regional Homelessness Strategy

Great Yarmouth Borough Council and Waveney District Council have produced their first joint homelessness strategy for the sub-region for 2008 -2013 which is now out for consultation from Friday 21st September 2007 until Friday 2nd November 2007.

Core Strategy Leads Brownfield Regeneration - (consultation period ends 18th September)
Residents and businesses can help plan the future of Great Yarmouth Borough over the next 15 years by having their say on the Council’s ‘Core Strategy’ Preferred Options – which will form the base of the new Local Development Framework (LDF).(Consultation period is 7th August to 18th September.)

Planning for the Next Generation 2006-2012 - (consultation period ends 15th September)
Great Yarmouth’s Play Strategy is now out for consultation. Based on the work of the Great Yarmouth Play Partnership, this strategy sets out Great Yarmouth Borough Council’s policies on children’s play, based on the belief that all children should be able to play within their local neighbourhoods and have safe and attractive play spaces within easy walking distance of their homes since early 2005.

Gambling policy consultation
