Phase 2 Roadworks in Great Yarmouth from Saturday 11 October
• No access off Haven bridge - diversion from Gapton Hall roundabout over Breydon Bridge back through Fullers Hill roundabout.
• North & Southbound traffic flows controlled by temporary traffic lights.
• Queen Street oneway system will operate in opposite direction.
• No entrance to Stonecutters Way - diversion via The Conge and Howard Street North.
• No exit from Stonecutters Way and Regent Street - diversion will be via Howard Street North / South, the Conge and Market Place onto Fullers Hill.
• Buses to exit Market Gates via Alexandra Road and Yarmouth Way.

Investment of £2m with Heritable Bank
On 15 July 2008, the Council invested, in accordance with the Council’s approved Treasury Management Strategy, £2m with the Heritable Bank. At this date, the bank was rated as F1 for short term ratings by Fitch, which indicates the strongest capacity for timely payment of financial commitments relative to other issuers or issues in the same country.

Norfolk Voluntary and Community organisations came together at the Ecotech Centre this week to successfully launch an exciting initiative. ‘Norfolk Unites’ is a new consortium aimed at increasing the funding opportunities for voluntary and community Learning and Skills providers across the county.

More than 100 professional performers and artists from Britain, France, Finland, Brazil, Spain, Uruguay, Cuba, Iceland, Portugal and Belgium will be entertaining at Great Yarmouth’s first international arts festival, Out There. Nearly all the events over the four days are free and taking place outside.
