Following the launch of the Borough’s cultural strategy "The Star of the East”, in 2005 a cultural partnership was established to drive forward the aims and aspirations to support and encourage cultural development within the Borough.

A free directory is produced by the cultural partnership representing the local sport, art, tourism and heritage sectors and is packed with information on everything from sport for all ages and abilities to art, photography, dance and yoga. Download the PDF Document Arts Directory here (72Kb)

The Borough Council’s arts development provision is primarily delivered by the Seachange Trust a local arts development agency, in accordance with a Service Level Agreement.
