The Great Yarmouth Cultural Partnership is in the process of compiling its 2006/7 Cultural Directory and this is the last chance for local clubs to sign up.

Sports and arts groups can have a free entry in the directory if they contact John Pamplin (01493 846446) for sports, or Bridget Heriz (01493 846550) for arts, or complete  this form (16kb).

The directory gives a comprehensive view of all the sport, leisure and art opportunities available in the Borough. It also contains a list of local clubs and organisations - giving the name of the organisation, a contact name and a telephone number. It provides a helpful source for those interested in participating in activities for the first time.

Clubs taking up the offer last year included music groups, a photographic society, arts and crafts clubs, aerobics and dance groups, yoga, martial arts and many more.

“This is the ideal opportunity for clubs of all sizes to let the people in the Borough know that they exist and potentially attract new members,” said Marie Hartley, Community Services Section Head.

“We distribute 10,000 copies to local libraries, CLIP offices, public buildings, leisure facilities, schools and colleges.

To ensure your organisation is included we must have the information by April 17.
