White Van Man a Welcome Sight!

A white van arriving at their door will be a pleasant sight to the 6,300 tenants of properties belonging to Great Yarmouth Borough Council.
“The vans bearing the Norfolk County Services logo, will be new to all our tenants as the company only took over the repairs contract on our housing stock on April 1,” said Head of Housing Management Denis Gilbert.
“In this day and age we hear so many tales of bogus callers to homes, but people can be reassured that workmen turning up in the vans and with valid identification are working for us.
“Although it is early days in the contract, we have been pleased that the handover period has gone well.
“The change of contractor will not affect how our tenants report repairs, they should contact us in the normal way.”
“Norfolk County Services are pleased to be working in partnership with Great Yarmouth Borough Council,” said Managing Director, Peter Hawes.
“We aim to provide a high quality service to the Council’s tenants, with the work being completed efficiently and on time, in accordance with appointments that are convenient to our customers, and with the minimum fuss and inconvenience.”
