Legendary DJ names such as Mike Read and Smiley - Miley will be heading up the Big L Radio roadshow (1395am), which hits Great Yarmouth on Thursday 17th August. The fun starts at 10am and will be on air between 11am ad 1pm.

The roadshow will be touring the UK for one week in August and will be bringing fun, games, competitions and great live music to Great Yarmouth’s Central Beach.

Some of the acts confirmed as performing during the week’s tour are the Drifters, Geno Washington, Misha Williams and the Automatics.

Big L was formed in 1964 and is a piece of rock n' roll folklore, named after the legendary 60's offshore radio station Big L. Big L has so much in store, so much music to play from yesterday and today. They also have some great presenter's - some familiar voices and some fresh new ones too!

Councillor Bert Collins – Chairman of Greater Yarmouth Tourist Authority said ‘we are pleased to welcome the Big L roadshow to Great Yarmouth, this is set to be a fantastic event. Such events are important to us in strengthening the events programme within the local area and building Great Yarmouth’s reputation as a ‘Festival’ destination.’
