Christmas Civic Service at Gorleston
PR 295
For Immediate Release
6 December 2006
This year’s Civic Christmas Service will have great appeal for all the family, with performances by a young persons’ theatre group and lots of traditional carols.
To be held at 6.30pm, on Sunday December 10, at St Andrews Church Gorleston the event will see the Mayor Councillor Sue Robinson switch on the nativity lights.
The civic service is an opportunity for the public, friends, families, and civic dignitaries to celebrate Christmas.
The performance by the Dusmagrik children’s theatre will be poignant for Margaret and Maureen Miller who have led the group for 21 years, as they take one of their last bows before Dusmagrik becomes part of the Great Yarmouth Amateur Dramatic Society.
For further information contact Mayor’s Secretary Laura Goodman on 01493 846125.
