Last minute bargain hunters will have even more choice when they shop in Great Yarmouth this year. For the first time ever the town has been holding Sunday markets – and that includes Christmas Eve.

“We have held markets over the last two Sundays,” said Great Yarmouth Borough Council Market Manager Duncan Mallett.

“There have been up to 30 traders offering the market’s usual varied wares.

“We have had such a good response from traders and the public that we are considering holding further Sunday markets next year.”

The Sunday market will be open from 10am to 4pm.
