Great Yarmouth Town Hall Closed to Public on Tuesday
Great Yarmouth Town Hall will be closed to the public on Tuesday January 30 while scaffolding is removed. The scaffolding was erected to help repairs be carried out to the large stainglass windows on the main staircase damaged in recent high winds.
Extensive scaffolding was needed which will take several hours to dismantle and remove – for safety reasons the public will not be able to enter the Town Hall during this time.
As the scaffolding will have to be removed via the front door the public are being asked to please be aware that it is not safe for them to use the main entrance.
Access to benefits and housing offices in Trafalgar House and Greyfriars House will not be affected.
The public rooms on the first floor of the Town Hall will be back in full use from Wednesday.
