Jane Ratcliffe is joining Great Yarmouth Borough Council as Corporate Director (Resources).

She has been Chief Strategic Services Officer with the London Borough of Redbridge since 2001. Previous posts have been as Head of Revenue Services with Redbridge, Colchester Borough Council and South Norfolk District Council.

In her current post Jane has responsibility for several areas including performance management, policy, equalities, communications, community and voluntary sector liaison and procurement.

“Her post at Great Yarmouth, which it is hoped will begin in October, will see her responsible for some key services including finance, audit, information technology, and customer services,” explained chief executive Richard Packham.

“It is a new post borne out of changes being implemented through a fundamental review of our management structures.”

“Jane was selected from a strong field of candidates,” added Leader of the Council Barry Coleman.

“We had 20 top class candidates, and we feel sure that Jane will make a positive contribution to the Council’s top management team.”
