The publication of the Borough’s free Cultural Directory gives you an introduction to organisations that can introduce to you sports, arts, heritage or leisure.
So whether you want to learn more about what excellent museums there are in the Borough, good routes for a walk, or getting physical by playing sport such as tennis or football - all the information is in the 52-page booklet.
The Cultural Directory was officially launched at the Marina Centre on June 25 with Tourism Manager Alan Carr, Service Manager Marie Hartley representing culture, John White chairman of the Great Yarmouth Sports Partnership, Councillor Bert Collins Chairman of the Cultural Partnership, Principal Conservation Officer Steve Earl for heritage and Paul Wishart for museums, watching a demonstration of Brazilian dance martial art by Joe Hayes and Jamie Johnston from Capoeira UK.
Free copies of the directory can be obtained from the Town Hall, Maltings House (Southtown Road), tourist information centre (Marine Parade), local libraries, CLIP offices, museums, leisure facilities, and GP surgeries.
