State of the Borough Debate

On Thursday 2 November 2006 the Borough Council is holding its fifth, public State of the Borough Debate. This is a chance to pose questions to the Council’s Cabinet about issues that are important to you.

This year’s debate will be opened by Councillor Barry Coleman, who will give an overview of the Council’s priorities and the work being undertaken to improve services. Councillor Coleman will then invite questions for the panel.

Last year, a lively debate ensued which covered various topics including:

  • Gorleston Seafront

  • Recycling

  • Refuse Collection

  • Environmental Rangers

  • Local Strategic Partnership, and

  • Outer Harbour
