From Wednesday September 27, GYB Services, on behalf of Great Yarmouth Borough Council will deliver free sandbags to properties in the Northgate area.

The Council has made the decision to try and help people in one of the worst affected areas in the Borough.

Properties receiving sandbags have been identified as those which have suffered from repeated flooding – which means that not all properties in the road will be entitled to free sandbags.

The area covered is:

• Northgate Street

• Apollo Walk

• Apollo Terrace

• Estcourt Road

• Nursery Terrace

• Cobden Terrace

• Victoria Street

• Stanley Road

• Moat Road

• Hammond Road

• St Nicholas Terrace

• Clintock Place

• Ludkin Square

• Maud Terrace
