Development Control

The role of the development control team at Great Yarmouth Borough Council includes the consideration of applications with respect of planning, advertisements, listed buildings, conservation areas and tree preservation orders.

The Communities and Local Government Department is launching a Standard Planning Application Form (1APP) in England and it will be the only way to apply for all types of planning permission (except minerals) from 6 April 2008. You will be able to apply online or download forms via the links below.

This will make the planning system clearer for planning professionals and citizens alike.

If you wish to know more about 1APP, click on this link .

From this page you can download many of the departments forms and access information about Development Control. If you are unable to find the information you require you can contact us and we will be happy to help.
