Great Yarmouth lies within a county that is proud of its peace and tranquillity, with its river valleys, rolling green fields, secluded woodlands, lowland heaths and miles of contrasting coastline.
Norfolk's gently undulating countryside is criss-crossed with footpaths that provide ample walking opportunities. There are four circular walks in the Great Yarmouth area, ranging in distance from 3 to 6 miles, located at Winterton, Halvergate Marshes, Bradwell and Filby
For the more energetic, there are two long distance walks in the area – Angles Way and Weavers' Way.
Further information on the circular walks and the long distance walks can be found by contacting Great Yarmouth Tourist Information Centre.
Additionally the Great Yarmouth Teaching Primary Care Trust has prepared a booklet on a number of walking routes in the Borough.
