The permit is only valid in the signed residents parking bays within zone A. (It is not valid on double or single yellow lines or in time limited bays – you may park in time limited bays but not exceed the time limit).

Full payment and relevant documentation must be received before a permit is issued.

The scheme operates daily (Monday to Sunday inclusive) between 8am to 6pm.

Permits registered to a vehicle are not transferable to other vehicles. Great Yarmouth Borough Council must be advised if you change your vehicle – proof of new vehicle must be shown and your old permit returned. (There will be no charge made providing your old permit is returned. A new permit will be issued for the remainder of the year left on your old permit).

There are no refunds on permits.

It is the responsibility of the owner of a visitor permit to ensure the permit is returned to them by their visitor.

A full re-application must be made for lost permits. The full fee will apply.

All passes are renewable annually.

Failure to comply with the above may result in the issue of an Offence notice and /or withdrawal of the pass.
