Transfer of Licence
(a)The Existing Trader will inform the Council of his intention to cease trading.
(b)The Existing Trader will then advertise his business and the site for transfer.
(c)The Existing Trader will advise the Council of the name and address of the prospective trader. (The Council will then seek to obtain financial and personal references).
(d)The retiring Trader will pay a transfer fee to the Council equivalent to 26 weeks site fees.
(e)Weekly site fees to be renegotiated with the Head of Property Services to level up inconsistent rates between similar trades.
(f)The new Trader will be required to ensure that the stall meets the Council’s Design Guidelines for stalls (50kb).
(g)New Trader to continue existing trade.
(h)New Trader to be resident within Norfolk and Suffolk.
(i)Subject to the references being satisfactory the new Trader will be issued with a Licence.
