Rating Multiplier
The national non-domestic rating multiplier is the rate in the pound by which the rateable value is multiplied to produce the annual rate bill for a property. This is set annually by the Government.
As a result of the Small Business Rate Relief scheme, from 2005/06, there are now two multipliers - the standard multiplier and the small business multiplier.
